Ice Cream

Every night, Griffyn has to have his Ben and Jerry's Phish Food ice cream. Tonight he told me that his ice cream has "no pint" in it. (pronounced - no pint with a short i). I said "what?" I looked at it and told him it was ONE PINT. We talked about how that was the size of the container, like a gallon or a cup. All the while, I was just holding back the laughter. He though it was so great that HIS ice cream had no pint. :)

Jamaica 08

We just got back from Jamaica. We returned to the place we went 3 years ago, Couples in Negril. It was beautiful. We got t-shirts, free massages, and a lovely dinner for being returning guests. I thought that was nice. We ate a lot of YUMMY food and got a lot of R&R.

Finally, we're on two wheels!

Griffyn finally asked Jerry to get the bike out so he could learn to ride without training wheels. BOOM! It's done!

Griffyn's First Summer Class

Well - I signed G up for many classes this summer. His first being soup making...
When I picked him up today, he had made SOAP! Totally misread! He made glycerin soap and some bubble bath and a honey/oatmeal bar... WOW!

Dinner with the Thurbers

Last night, the Thurber family came over for dinner. We had steak sandwiches and some yummy pasta salad. Julie made a delicious rhubarb dessert. mmmmmm....
We started talking about how we had 3rd graders! Here we are - Julie is about due and I am 2 months behind her. The other picture is me on my last day of work - April 28, 2000. Griffy was born on May 26! (10 pounds 11 ounces)

Griffyn's Birthday

For Griffyn's 8th birthday, we had Snakes Alive come. Tom Kessenich brought several reptiles including two lizards, an alligator, a python, and a boa constrictor.
